Lead Adaptive Instructor

Sam came to Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra as an adaptive snow sports intern and has been part of the DSES family since. Originally from North Eastern Pennsylvania Sam grew up skiing, snowboarding, hiking, horseback riding, and exploring the outdoors. When she came to Mammoth, she fell in love with the mountains, the community, and the powder! She graduated from Penn State with a degree in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management, specializing in outdoor recreation and education, complemented by a minor in sustainability. As an adaptive instructor at DSES, Sam gets to share her passion of outdoor recreation with others!
