Overview
Go the distance for adaptive mountain sports in the Eastern Sierra.
This summer, the annual Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra Sierra Summer Challenge returns with the spirit of “Your Challenge, Every Body’s Access.” From July 4 to 18, 2025, join us in moving, hiking, biking, paddling, gardening—or any activity you love—to support our mission of access-ability for every body.
Whether you’re in the mountains or joining from afar, this peer-to-peer FUNdraising challenge welcomes everyone who wants to help break down barriers and create individualized mountain sports opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.
Every step, paddle, pedal, and dollar raised makes a direct impact—supporting adaptive equipment, scholarships, expert instruction, and year-round programs that make outdoor adventure possible for everyone.
This year marks the final Sierra Summer Challenge under the Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra name, as we prepare to launch an exciting rebrand in fall 2025. Be part of this meaningful legacy and help us reach our ambitious goal of $150,000!
Rally your friends, family, and community to support your challenge—through phone calls, emails, texts, or in-person encouragement.
Not able to participate? You can still make a difference—donate today and help us keep mountain sports accessible to everyone.
