Access Mammoth Celebrates Kate Delson's Qualification for Milano Cortina 2026

We are thrilled to announce that Kate Delson has officially qualified to represent the United States at the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games in Para Snowboard! This incredible achievement reflects years of dedication and the support of our amazing community.

Kate's journey on the snow began at just 3 years old when she first strapped on skis with us. By age 7, she discovered snowboarding and quickly fell in love with the sport. From the start, Kate showed a natural drive and passion for the mountain, and she has continued to develop her skills with determination, resilience, and love for the sport.

Her growth as an athlete has been shaped not only by her own talent and hard work, but also by the volunteers, instructors, and mentors who have guided and encouraged her along the way. Kate gives a special thanks to Randee, her main ski instructor from ages 3–7, whose patience, encouragement, and belief in her abilities helped lay the foundation for her success.

Kate's story is a shining example of why access and opportunity in adaptive sports matter. The lessons she has learned, the friendships she has forged, and the skills she has developed through our programs have helped shape her into not only a top-tier athlete, but also a role model for the next generation of adaptive athletes.

The entire Access Mammoth community is cheering Kate on as she prepares for the world stage in Milano Cortina 2026. We cannot wait to watch her represent her country, showcase her talent, and share her journey with the world.

Congratulations, Kate! Your journey is a powerful reminder of the impact of opportunity, community, and dedication—and we are so proud to be part of it.
